Travel Guide’s “End The Traffic” initiative is taking a unique approach to combating human trafficking by working closely with spiritual leaders, non-profits and businesses to EACH take their role in preventing and addressing human trafficking. This commitment can look like any of the following 3 Key Components from its members:

  • Understand its inception; the roots and drivers of human trafficking and the unexpected ways an individual may be connected to it in their life.

  • Educate stakeholders on the vulnerable points where trafficking tends to begin.

  •  Provide comprehensive information on recognizing signs of human trafficking in travel-related activities.

  •  Develop innovative programs for employees and travelers to enhance their ability to identify and report potential cases.

(I)mplement

  • Collaborate with industry experts to establish and promote best practices for preventing human trafficking.

  • Encourage businesses to integrate zero tolerance anti-trafficking measures into their operations. This can be done through The Code; a voluntary set of criteria that members commit to, to keep children safe.

(I)nfluence

  • Contribute to Travel Guide’s online educational game Stop S.t.a.n.l.e.y which teaches young individuals how to identify predators online. (COMING SOON!)

  • Join our campaigns via social media to inform the public of the prevalence of human trafficking on children and the vulnerable online.

  • Foster community engagement through inspiring partnerships and outreach programs to empower individuals to take a stand.

  • Create a sustainable movement of businesses across the country committed to making a long-lasting impact
